Last week I drove to St. Louis to attend the American Christian Fiction Writers conference. I had a great time talking to other authors and attending workshops by agents and authors on craft and the business of writing. I was a semi-finalist in the Genesis contest in the historical fiction category, but did not win.

I was thrilled to be selected as one of seven semi-finalists in the American Christian Fiction Writers Genesis Contest. The contest recognizes unpublished authors in several genres.
